Originally, the WD-40 Specialist Motorbike Chain Cleaner was designed to be used on metallic surfaces and most rigid thermosetting plastics for all engineering applications. A water-dispersible degreaser, the WD-40 Chain Cleaner is used to solubilise greases and oils, whether they be recent, oxidised, or old.

    • Composition, description: A solution of aliphatic hydrocarbon solvent, aliphatic alcohol, non-ionic surfactant, and hydrocarbon propellant.
    • Packaging: 400 ml aerosol can.

Directions for use:
For best results, spray the chain cleaner generously on the surface to be treated and leave for five minutes. Collect the contaminated or excess liquid in a basin or similar container.
Using a brush can facilitate elimination if the contamination is substantial or difficult to remove. Rinse with water to remove the contamination and dry with a cloth or a towel. Always work in a well-ventilated space, being careful to avoid inhaling the fumes.
NOTE: All contaminated oils and other hydrocarbons must be disposed of responsibly in accordance with applicable local regulations.

Do not use WD-40 Specialist Motorbike Chain Cleaner on decorative elements or embellishments where the product could affect the coatings.
It is also strongly discouraged to use the product on rubbers or soft plastics before verifying if the product is suitable.
