All appliances connected to a drinking water network and comprising a water drainage device must be equipped with a pressure break before discharge into the drainage system. This water trap must satisfy the requirements described in section 9 in standard NF EN 1717, otherwise the fluid in the appliance must be considered as a category 5 fluid.
