Detector coolant leak- TESTO - 0563 3163

This measurement instrument can be used to quickly find a coolant leak on a refrigeration installation or on a heat pump. The coolant leak detector has an accurate sensor head, capable of finding the source of the failure of the air conditioning unit. The TESTO leak detector is an indispensable tool for the refrigeration technician working on an out-of-service heat pump or an air conditioner.


In addition to the light signals on the front of the measurement instrument, an audible alarm informs you when are approaching the leak on the refrigeration installation. TESTO enables easy replacement of the sensor in no time, to assure a long service life of its measurement tool. On average, the life of the TESTO 316-3 leak detector sensor is equivalent to a life of 80 to 100 hours (i.e. approximately 1 year of use for an air conditioning / refrigeration technician).


Designed to follow the technician at any time, the TESTO 316-3 leak detector has a continuous operating life of 16h. It can be used over a wide temperature rangefrom -18°C to 50°C.
