Permanently under voltage, the capacitor assures the motor a supply during an auxilary phase. The mentioned voltage on the body of the capacitor has nothing to do with the sector voltage. The replacement by a higher voltage capacitor is possible, but not the opposite. If the replacement capacitor displays a capacity in micro farad (µF) more or less than 20%, the motor can start but gives a torque and a speed not sufficient, prejudicial to its longetivity. Delivered with a kit comprised of : PVC tube; Service voltage alternating 400/500 volts; 2pods Faston in a set 6.5; 1 nut for binding.
