The 608069 DIFF anti-freeze valve allows fluid to be drained from the hydraulic circuit when the temperature drops to an average of 3°C. The valve prevents ice from forming in the system, usually in a heat pump, thus avoiding damage to the machine and pipes. The anti-freeze valve automatically drains the part of the circuit located outside to protect it from freezing.
The characteristics of the anti-freeze valve

Closing temperature: 4°C
Brass body
How the anti-freeze valve works
The anti-freeze valve is a safety device that protects against damage caused by a drop in water temperature in the pipes. The thermostatic element opens the cartridge as soon as the water temperature falls below 3°C. The built-in air vent allows air to enter.
The anti-freeze valve must be installed on a heat pump circuit equipped with a circulator. It must be in a vertical position to allow the drained water to flow downwards. It must be placed away from heat sources.
