The TESTO 316-4 measurement instrument helps you to find the leak in a refrigeration system, such as a heat pump or air conditioner. It is used for conventional coolants (HCFC, HFC, CFC, H2) and for NH3 (with sensor head not supplied).

This TESTO measurement instrument is an indispensable tool for maintenance of a heat pump that is out-of-service due to a coolant leak. Its highly sensitive sniffer allows you to quickly act on a refrigeration installation that loses its energy source, with significant environmental consequences.

This coolant leak detector is provided with a display for easy detection, and triggers an alarm when you get close to the source of the problem. Earphones are included to facilitate detection if the environment is too noisy.

Although its sensor has a very high sensitivity of more than 3g/year, it can be used near pipes or the place of the measurement. A flexible gooseneck connects the sensor to the instrument so you can use it anywhere and in any manner.
